Did some reorganizing of the Summer 2003 results to move them into their own archive directory, as we prepare for the summer 2004 season.

Canada's national women's team is coming to Kingston! On Sunday, September 14th, the national team will be playing a friendly match against Australia at Richardson Stadium. Tickets are $5 (General Admission) and available from SOSA at (613) 546-6642. Word is that they will be available on campus this week also.

Photos from the May 25th game against Chemistry are now available for viewing, as are some video highlights from the Grad League final are online, as are a number of pictures from the match, plus some pictures from the women's final.

With a strong 2-1 victory over Real Perovskite, Mel's Angels are the Men's Grad League Champions of 2003. The Match Summary and statistics are online. Photos and highlight video clips from the game will be coming shortly.

IMPORTANT: tonight's final against Real Perovskite has been postponed! We will be playing early next week with all likelihood and will inform everyone as soon as we know the date and time.

The match summary from last night's tight 2-2 (7-6 on penalties) Semi-Final revenge win over Blue Steel is now online. The final is to be played against Real Perovskite at 7pm on Thursday night at the North Field.

No more potentially nasty conflicts with the Cup tournament this weekend. We now play our playoff game at 5:30pm on Sunday afternoon rather than 4:15pm. It is still at the North Field at West Campus.

Ok, it's official now. We are playing this Sunday at 4:15pm against The Great Ones on the North Field. Economics will be playing Biohazards right before us (2:45pm start), and Monday will feature Real Perovskite vs Dos Propellers (5:30pm) and Blue Steel vs Meds (7:00pm).

The match summary from last night's 3-1 victory over Economics is now online along with another statistics update. This victory clinches first place in the regular season for Mel's Angels.

And of course, since the playoff times have been confirmed, they've changed slightly. Two men's games will take place on the Sunday (July 20th), and Mel's Angels will be playing at 4:15pm for certain. However, instead of playing on the West Campus field, we'll be playing on the North Field. The other two games will be played on Monday night (5:30pm and 7pm) on the same field. Semi-finals are at the same time as mentioned previously, but will be played on the North Field now. The Women's Semi-Finals will be played on Wednesday, July 23rd, and the Women's finals have been moved to 5:30pm on Thursday (July 24th) with the Men's finals following them at 7pm.
The schedule has been updated to note the possible playoff rounds.

Playoff game times have been confirmed for the Men's division. The top 8 teams will make it into the playoffs (Mel's Angels have already clinched a spot). Quarter-Finals will be played on Sunday, July 20th. The first round is at 2:45pm, and the second at 4:15pm. Games will be played on both the North and West Campus fields. The Semi-Finals will occur on Tuesday, July 22nd, and will be played on the West Campus field at 5:30pm and 7:00pm. The Final will follow on Thursday, July 24th at 5:30pm at the West Campus field.

The Grad Club has a beer tasting today at 7.30pm, it's only $3 for members ($5 otherwise). From what the manager says, there will be a lot of beer to drink for that amount of money. Also, our next game is next Thursday night. Bring yellow jerseys if you can, just in case they are needed. ZiDan will be making a special appearance for this game, bringing his fine theoretical soccer game along with him.

We've switched one of our match dates from May 29th to Sunday, June 1 at 2:45pm on Caton’s #1. The schedule has been updated to reflect this change.

There is a practice/kick-around this Thursday (May 1) at 5:30 over on Tindall Field (or if Tindall is occupied, at Cricket Field -- in front of the courthouse -- diagonally across from the Grad Club). If all goes well, shirts will be available at that time.

Mel (she of the team name) has been appointed as the Social Convenor for the league this summer and has arranged a couple of good deals for everyone. First off, the Grad Club is offering a food and drink combo deal on match nights. On the team's match night, they will provide 1/2 price food (valid for the entire menu until 10pm and then on bar food following this) as well as a $2.50 drink special - Newfie Screech (Rum) with your choice of Mix. Secondly, she is looking to arrange a Patio-Crawl towards the end of May. Let Sebi or Alex know if you are interested in this.

We placed the order for the shirts today, and they will be ready in two weeks' time (May 1). The cost will be $20 for each shirt and $15 for the registration fee, you should give the money to Alex. Also, we have our first practice/get-together at 7pm on April 24th (next Thursday) at Tindall Field.
